I was selected as 1 of 80 artists to paint a whale tail, part of the World Wildlife Foundation’s Whale Tale Art Trail 2022.
80 whale tails are part of a whale tail art trail, shown around Auckland City. The tails are auctioned off to raise money to help protect our oceans.

I’ve lived on Waiheke for 20-something years, so I’ve definitely got a few of my favourite local spots. I’ve depicted some of these spots in a kiwiana, organic and kitsch style of illustration.
Beyond the reasonably-new vineyards and dream-worthy mansions, there’s still a bit of kiwi grit and charm to be seen on Waiheke. I try to capture unique aspects of what makes Waiheke special.

Portfolio Recruitment are a specialised recruitment agency for the creative industry. Every year they hand out nifty blank journals for creatives and employers alike to use.
They selected three of their freelancers to illustrate covers with the theme of ‘connection’.
I hand-painted zebras walking on zebra-crossings, with a nod to The Beatles classic Abbey Road cover.
Winner of the Book of Lists Illustrated Cover
Every second year Tampa Bay Business Journal (TBBJ) releases a Book of Lists – listings of hundreds of companies in Tampa in their fields, by ranking. They have an artist submission competition, the chosen submission to be on the cover of the 1000’s of copies printed. My illustration was chosen as the winner.
I illustrated a cover that captured the postcard-perfect aspects of Tampa Bay; the beaches, the historical buildings, the nature and wildlife.
I created watercolour illustrations of Florida when I was Art Director at ChappellRoberts.
I illustrated elements that made Tampa, Florida unique. The food-scene, the wild life the beautiful beaches and surroundings.
Crafter’s Union Wine held a competition to design one of their wine labels.
Given the wine blend was from Hawke’s Bay, I illustrated an iconic view from Hawke’s Bay, including native fauna and birds.
The end result was a watercolour piece that depicted a perfect kiwi Summer.
In an attempt to make plastic-pollution not so overwhelming and disheartening, I created Future Blue to help educate individuals on positive and simple ways they can make a difference.
I wanted to create a brand with an encouraging tone of voice, beautiful illustrations I created and clean, minimal iconography.
String Theory created a brand toolkit for their clients, to give them insightful information and how brands can be successful.
Part of that toolkit was a pack of archetype cards, in which famous individuals are used to define each card category.
Illustrated as freelancer for String Theory.
Branding identity for New Zealand Craft Brewing Co. Capturing what makes them unique: hand-crafted, natural, confident and quirky – and of course, kiwi. The hand rendered logo captures the natural elements needed to create beer: sunshine, soil and water.

I re-branded Lucio’s Pizza to be more relevant to their target audience, and be a leader in the indie-pizza market in NYC.
The re-brand was created with hand-rendered lettering, that incorporated quirky icons and elements that tie New York and Italy together.
Student work for Sessions College, Course on Packaging. Passed with A+.
I have a soft-spot for vintage packaging. Whenever I wander into an op shop I can’t help but leave with at least one dog-earred ancient book, old tin can or something thats a blast from the past.
Illustration for Frankie Magazine.
I created a DPS illustration for Frankie Magazine while studying at Yoobee School of Design. I created the illustration using watercolour, tea staining and digital post-editing.
